Short Description:

Dye-sublimation fabric is a high-polyester textile engineered for gas-phase coloration. Solid disperse dyes are first printed in reverse onto high-release paper, then brought into intimate contact with the knit under 190-200 °C and 0.3-0.5 MPa for 25-40 s. The thermal pulse drives the dye past its triple point; pigment molecules enter the PET amorphous zones while the polymer chains are transiently mobile. The process is water-free, binder-free and ideal for sportswear, beach flags and soft signage that must combine vivid graphics with durability.
